Richmond Citizens’ Association launches rebrand
The city’s progressive slate has a fresh look to go with its exciting candidates.
RICHMOND, B.C.
The Richmond Citizens’ Association has a new look complete with a logo and new colour scheme for the city’s progressive party.
Richmond deserves elected officials who put genuine effort into everything they do. That’s why, as an AI-free campaign, RCA worked with a local graphic designer to build our new visual identity. Supporting real, original art is important to us as an organization. Our new logo was created through real conversations, with real thought into what makes Richmond, Richmond and what the core of RCA’s values are.
Richmond Citizens’ Association believes that the care, thought and effort that goes into a campaign reflects the care, thought and effort candidates will serve with if elected. We wouldn’t trust AI to govern and we won’t trust people who can’t convey “their” message without it either. Our new logo was designed to represent how interwoven Richmond is as a community, one of RCA’s core values is that we leave nobody behind. It brings to mind RCA’s environmental and farming roots. It also echoes the arms of the Fraser River that we value so much in this city and the lines and knots used in fishing.
Richmond Citizens’ Association is geared up for October’s municipal election. We have selected our five candidates: Keefer Pelech, Alton Cheung, Milly Yee, Vincent Li and Tamás Revóczi and we’ve already knocked on hundreds of doors to hear from voters as we build our platform.
Our candidates’ top concerns include making housing more affordable so our friends and family aren’t priced out of the city, protecting our farms, rivers and environment, making sure people feel safe in our city and supporting our local businesses. We want to make sure Richmond is a real community to call home.
