About Milly Yee

A woman with long dark hair, smiling, wearing a blue and white striped shirt and a gray coat, standing against a neutral background.

My name is Milly Yee, and I am proud to be a lifelong resident of Richmond. Having grown up in this community, through elementary school, high school, and into adulthood; am now raising my own family here while continuing to live and work in the city I call home.

I currently work in the public sector as a Senior Support and Recovery Specialist. In addition, I serve as a union-appointed pension trustee for our joint pension plan, as well as an executive councillor and audit committee member with MoveUP.

Through my work as a pension trustee and union leader, I have developed a strong foundation in fiduciary responsibility, financial stewardship, and risk management. My experience on the risk management committee has further strengthened my ability to assess investment strategies, safeguard assets, and ensure the long-term sustainability of complex organizations. These are practical, real-world skills that directly align with the responsibilities of a Richmond City Councillor.

I am committed to responsible leadership and to safeguarding our city's financial health and future prosperity. If elected, I will serve the residents of Richmond with integrity, transparency, accountability, and a deep understanding of the community we share.
