About Tamás Revóczi
Tamás Revóczi: A Proven Champion of Resilience, Vision and Action for Richmond
A two-time cancer survivor and Master’s ultramarathoner, Tamás knows what it means to go the distance. Born in Austria to Hungarian political asylum seekers, his lived experience with xenophobia and affordability gives him a deep understanding of the challenges facing Richmond’s working families.
As a Burkeville resident and President of the Sea Island Community Association, Tamás is aiming to become the first Sea Island councillor at City Hall in modern history, honouring the legacy of local giants like Arthur Laing. Running with the Richmond Citizens’ Association (RCA), he is focused on ""future-proofing"" our city through community safety, affordability, sustainability, improved transit, cooperative housing and climate resilience. A father of two, he is a tireless advocate for an inclusive Richmond where every neighborhood has a voice and a seat at the table.
