Help us save 40 Richmond residents from homelessness

We need your help to save 40 units of supportive housing in Richmond! Aster Place is a supportive housing facility that provides stable housing, mental health supports, and personal development services to 40 Richmond residents who have complex needs.

The lease for Aster Place is coming to the end of its term and a public hearing will take place on Monday, July 20th to hear from residents about renewing the lease and keeping this vital service.

We have already seen several 2026 municipal candidates who are using fear and division to rally opposition to this vital housing in order to serve their own political ambitions.

This is wrong.

Let the Mayor and Council know that supportive housing is an important piece of Richmond's plan to address homelessness and our mental health crisis. By failing to renew the lease, City Council will be bowing to fear-based politics and evicting 40 Richmond residents onto the street where their conditions will worsen.
